ELINEK SA was founded in 1997 and is active mainly in the field of control, consulting and legislation of cosmetic products. It was established by Greek cosmetics producers in order to comply with the then EU directive on the quality of cosmetics. In 2009 the management of the company changes keeping the same goals that had been demarcated since the founding of the company. From 1997 until today the company is developing s and adapting to the requirements of the field of cosmetics, as a result of which it has won the trust of cosmetic producers and EU importers.
In 2018, after 20 years of experience in the field of cosmetics, ELINEK takes a new step in the field of Nutritional Supplements and Biocides/ Disinfectants.
ELINEK is licensed by the National Organization of Medicines (EOF) and operate according to the rules of Good Laboratory Practice.
It is certified according to the standard EN ISO 9001: 2015 for the following scope of activity:
“Provision of Chemical and Microbiological Laboratory test (on cosmetic raw materials, water, challenge test and final product, dietary supplements), In-Vitro Tests.
Provision of audits to GMP, Stability testing on cosmetic products and Carrying out testing on Disinfectants, Biocides”.
The inspirer of the idea for the founding of ELINEK was the late Theodoros Tsiatas who served as President and CEO until 2007.
His principles and beliefs govern to this day the philosophy of the company and have been adopted by its successors.
