IFRA announced the notification of the 50th Amendment to the IFRA Standards, which includes regulatory updates for fragrances. There is only one update to the Standards and only one new prohibition of substance, which is MINTLACTONE (CAS No. 13341-72-5).
The 50th Amendment is effective from August 2021 for newly introduced products and from 30 August 2022 for products that are currently on the market.
